Advanced vessels

Our growing fleet of fully connected and advanced autonomous vessels are ready to support any global offshore project and any data requirements.

Reliable, marine-grade data collection
that can cover the world

Able to be equipped with a diverse and rich set of sensors, our mixed fleet of crewed and uncrewed vessels are the foundation to our marine-grade quality, survey and inspection data. Able to offer global coverage, we are constantly upgrading our data capture capabilities to ensure we have the broadest portfolio of data products to offer.

Xplorer 18

Our fleet includes the Xplorer 18, an autonomous hydrographic survey vessel that effortlessly supports near and offshore campaigns. Built from the ground up to be completely uncrewed, Xplorer 18 retains the flexibility to operate with a lean crew, offering efficient operations today while leveraging the technology of the future.

With a 10-day endurance, permanently fitted sensor spread, and a gyroscopic stabiliser, Xplorer 18 maximises efficiency whether operating solo or paired with another vessel. The vessel is equipped with a dense, AI-driven remote computer cluster, making it a floating data acquisition and processing powerhouse. Our in-house AI pipelines enable rapid processing of critical survey datasets, performed on site, at the edge, to shorten delivery times.

Glomar Supporter

Our dedicated multipurpose DP2 survey vessel, the Glomar Supporter, has a proven track record for safe and efficient operations, and has been carefully tailored to deliver a versatile and superior quality spread for consistent, industry-leading data capture and reporting.

Differentiated by technology and equipment, the vessel provides synergistic working and flexibility of sensor deployment. The vessel is equipped to deliver simultaneous data collection with instant upload, as well as a Work-Class ROV for concurrent inspection activities.

Newly refurbished, with DP2 station keeping capabilities, an overall length of 60 metres, 15.6 metres width and a draft of 3.5 metres, the Glomar Supporter is the ideal vessel to deliver a complete package of survey solutions, bringing unrivalled efficiency to offshore operations.

Glomar Worker

Recently modernised, the Glomar Worker now features leading-class accommodation and facilities, ensuring comfort and efficiency during operations. With DP2 station-keeping capabilities, an overall length of 60 metres, a width of 15.6 metres, and a draft of 3.5 metres, this vessel is ideally suited to provide a complete suite of survey solutions, enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of your offshore projects.

MV Patriot

The MV Patriot is a powerhouse for advanced offshore wind and decommissioning projects. MV Patriot’s active heave crane and 682sqm deck capacity will bolster Beam’s construction and operations and maintenance (O&M) expertise. The vessel consolidates the company’s site clearance
ability, including debris and boulder removal and unexploded ordinance (UXO) navigation.MV Patriot’s significant deck space is set to reduce the volume of trips back to shore. In addition, its DP2 station keeping capability will provide a stable platform for launch and recovery in marginal weather. This will allow Beam to schedule wider working windows across surveys and remotely
operated vehicle (ROV) inspections. As with Beam’s other vessels, MV Patriot will be permanently installed with best-in-class ROVs. The WROV onboard will be fitted with Beam’s state-of-the-art SubSLAM technology, allowing for live inspections and precise 3D reconstructions. The MV Patriot will enable full site data capture offshore
and ship-to-shore communications, with live streaming assisting real-time decision making.
